In this presentation we’ll review the evidence and discuss a number of novel protocols you can use to get more out of every rep. ( Chicago , Los Angeles )

CHARLIE WEINGROFF DPT, ATC, CSCS • World Renowned Physical Therapist and Performance Coach • Former Director of Physical Performance, Men’s Canadian National Basketball Team • Former Strength & Conditioning Coach, Philadelphia 76ers, NBA • Solopreneur Business Consultant The 3 Secret Factors to Strong and Resilient Training & Rehab Day in and day out, every coach and therapist is looking for ways to be better in how they help other people. It’s always a great place to start with global perspectives that govern how we adapt, how we change, how we improve. Words like Mobility, Stability, Strength, Endurance are often the big words that we are always after. However, all of these goals have concepts that expand on the reasons and explanations of how and why they work and how we can make them even better. In this talk, Charlie will focus primarily on the soft tissues of the body – muscle, tendons, liga- ments, nerves, vessels, and fascia. The 3 factors that are shared across all of these tissues are Direction of Force, Pressurization, and Hydraulics. We will discuss these factors of physics in very practical terms and dem- onstrations leading to how they enhance all of the adaptations these tis- sues are involved in. ( Orlando , Los Angeles , Providence ) Attending the 3-day Summits has been an invaluable asset to my educational journey. The opportunity to connect with fellow fitness professionals in one centralized location is truly remarkable. Whether it’s engaging in the sessions, casual hallway conversations, or the ability to make connections, I love that everyone can learn from each other and share our passion for fitness. – BRAD LECRAW, FOUNDER/OWNER, BL HEALTH & PERFORMANCE LANCE WALKER MS, PT, CNDS, CSCS • Executive Director, Oklahoma State University Human Performance and Nutrition Research Institute • Former Global Performance Director, Michael Johnson Performance • 30 Years of Combining Coaching, Physical Therapy, and Sports Science at All Competitive Levels Kids Shouldn’t “Lift Weights”: Age-Specific Strength Training for Ages 6-16 We have all heard it before: “Kids shouldn’t lift weights.” What is your re- sponse? See how human motion is converted through the Core and how common kinetic chain dysfunctions support why it is impor- tant to train the Core in an upright position. You will learn how the young science of fascia has enhanced the theory of the Vertical Core training system since its inception in 2006. Learn how to create a never-ending toolbox of core exercises to help improve human performance. ( Chicago , Los Angeles )
